We are currently accepting applications for an exciting opportunity for B747-400 Captains with Air China Cargo, a well known Chinese operator.

Minimum Qualifications / Hours

 -Valid ICAO ATPL (no limitations on B744)
 -B747-400 PIC type rating
 -Total time: Minimum 5,000 hours
 -Total B744 PIC time: Minimum 500 hours
 -Have flown B744 within 6 months, the last Proficiency Test is still within the term of validity
 -At least 1 year experience flying international routes as PIC and minimum 500 flight hours
 -Age under 56 years old at start of contract
 -ICAO English level 4 or above or English Proficiency endorsement

Terms & Condition Brief

Payment:
US$13,200* net per month;
*note 1: a. ground & flight training period - first 4 weeks US$6,000 net
b. route flight under supervision - second 4 weeks US$9,600 net
*note 2: The details of payment method will be informed after screening.
*note3: Refer to Appendix for option to choose of payment

Tax:
The airline will pay all Chinese taxes for you.

Duty Travel Allowance:
US$1,000* net per month, (*note: from route flight under supervision).

Living Allowance:
US$2,000 per month from start of contract with receipt provided by pilot

Bonus:
US$3,000 net after completion of 2 years' service,
US$3,900 net after completion of the 3rd year service
US$4,875 net per year after completion of the 4th year service
Max US$8,000 net after 10 years service (yearly bonus table will be provided in contract)

Base:
Beijing, Shanghai in China or mutually agreed other international city between ACC and pilot

Contract Term:
2 years – renewable

Start Date:
Aug 2010 and ongoing;

Monthly Days Off:
Min consecutive 7days per month

Annual leave:
Each Crew Member shall be entitled to have maximum 4 weeks per year paid annual leave accrue during the term of providing service to Party A and such annual leave be available from the seventh month after the Contract has come into force. To achieve the monthly block hour (80 hours) shall be the priority when requesting for the Annual Leave. The rostering of annual leave shall be arranged by Party A subject to the business requirement.
The Annual Leave remained from the last year could be reserved to the next year.

Sick Leave:
12 paid sick leave days per year with medical certificate from a registered doctor.

Overtime:
Overtime is payable after 80 block hours at 1/80 of the monthly payment.
PIC: US$165/hour, Junior Captain: US$150/hour

Deadhead hours:
Pay 50% rate of block hour

Duty Ground Transportation:
The airline will provide ground transportation when on duty at layover station

Travel Allowance:
Positive economy class air travel for yourself on the Air China network at start and end of contract;
A total of 7 standby return economy class air tickets on Air China network per year for you and/or your immediate family members (available 7 months after start date).

Visas/Work Permit:
The airline will arrange and pay for the costs of your visa/permits to live and work in China. However you will be responsible for arranging and paying for any visas that may be required to attend the Screening and when you first enter China at start of contract

Appendix: Scheme of Payment and Annual Leave

Scheme 1:

1. Base
The base of the Crew Member is ________ in China.
2. Annual Leave
During the Assignment Period, the Crew Member is entitled to 28 days of annual leave, and a minimum of 7 consecutive days must be taken each time.
3. Monthly Salary:
Captain: US$ 13,200
Junior Captain: US$ 12,000

Scheme 2:

1. Base
The base of the Crew Member is ________ in China.
2. Annual Leave
During the Assignment Period, the Crew Member is entitled to 42 days of annual leave, and a minimum of 7 consecutive days must be taken each time.
3. Monthly Salary:
Captain: US$ 12,200
Junior Captain: US$ 11,000

Scheme 3:

1. Base
The base of the Crew Member is ________ (outside China).
2. Annual Leave
During the Assignment Period, the Crew Member is entitled to 28 days of annual leave, and a minimum of 7 consecutive days must be taken each time.
3. Monthly Salary:
Captain: US$ 10,700
Junior Captain: US$ 9,500

Note:
Any Crew Member that wishes to change his choice of the above schemes shall submit his request in the last month (i.e., December) of a calendar year, and the new scheme will come into effect from the first month (i.e., January) of the following year.

Party B undertakes and agrees to include all the particulars contained in this Schedule 2 in the Specified Service Agreement to be entered into with the Crew Members and to provide a duplicate of such Specified Service Agreement to Party A for record
